The customer for IPSA’s proposed second project is Mondi Kraft in Merebank, Durban, the paper-manufacturing subsidiary of Anglo American Corporation. The Company is in advanced negotiations [with Mondi Kraft] to supply steam and power to a site located near Durban International Airport. The project is intended to reach commercial operation by October 2006. Discussions with other industrials in the vicinity have been initiated and it is likely that a larger scale development will be proposed.
